The Minnesota AgriGrowth Council is seeking an intern to work on numerous projects with AgriGrowth staff in service of our diverse membership. Minnesota AgriGrowth Council is a non-profit, non-partisan member organization representing the entire agri-food chain from farm to Fortune 500 agribusiness.
The AgriGrowth intern's responsibilities will include attending various meetings on behalf of AgriGrowth, supporting research and outreach to current and potential future members, procure member initiatives and stories for bulletins and social media, support staff at AgriGrowth events, and other projects as assigned.
A preferred candidate will possess:
1) Exceptional analytical, writing, and communication skills
2) A background or expressed interested in the agriculture and food industry
3) Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet research
4) Time management skills without strict supervision
The internship will offer 10-20 hours per week at $20 per hour. Specific hours and schedules will be negotiated with AgriGrowth's Executive Director and can be flexible based on applicant's schedule.
