Nutrien Ag Solutions has more than 350 employees at 22 operations and retail farm centers across the state. Our team in Minnesota is part of Nutrien’s global enterprise, which includes approximately 25,000 people helping to produce and deliver crop inputs to farmers around the world.

For generations, Nutrien Ag Solutions (and our predecessor companies) have worked in partnership with farmers to advance the industry. Championing the farmer remains a priority for us today.
To achieve this end, Nutrien Ag Solutions is actively driving innovation to help farmers sustainably, reliably, and profitably improve crop production. As an example, our work with local farmers to effectively adopt and manage the 4R Nutrient Stewardship System is a path to ensuring the health and vitality of the state’s soil, water, and air for generations to come.

While farmers have always faced swings in prices for crops and inputs, the growers of today – and tomorrow – are facing changes in political and regulatory environments; technologies; and weather patterns. Nutrien is working to advance the interests of farmers in each of these areas by developing ag solutions that address our changing industry.
Please explain a few key opportunities & challenges your organization will face over the next 5 years.
Advances in technologies are making it possible to foresee a more efficient and environmentally sustainable future for agriculture. Nutien is now using advanced agronomic, environmental, and computational science to supply better information and solutions for farmers.
With the development of science-based frameworks like the 4R Nutrient Stewardship Certification Program, we will be better able to deliver improved plant-nutrition management and more sustainable crop production plans tailored to specific farms.
Volatility in the political and regulatory environments will continue to be a challenge across the ag industry. Our aim is to advocate for farmers and deliver solutions that can help them sustainably increase production.
