Late last month, I began my new position at AgriGrowth as the Director of Strategic Engagement. I am excited to dive in and connect with our members! Part of what drew me to this organization is the wide variety of members coming together to advance and elevate a strong, thriving agri-food sector. My background is in business, policy and membership, and I look forward to growing in this new role and engaging with our membership to further understand the challenges and opportunities our industry faces. AgriGrowth is positioned to work across the food supply chain through the strength of our membership, and to collectively surface commonsense solutions to address our members' interests.
My first week began with attending a Member Input Meeting, and I was impressed by the attendance and engagement from policy-minded members speaking thoughtfully to a diverse array of interests. The input we gather from our members helps us create and bolster our policy positions and advocacy work both in Minnesota and Washington, D.C.
