Saint Paul, MINN.--The Minnesota AgriGrowth Council (AgriGrowth), a nonprofit, nonpartisan member organization representing the agriculture and food industry, welcomed its newest Board Member Josie Hendrickx last week. Hendrickx, Director of Sourcing for KLN Family Brands of Perham, Minnesota, is replacing outgoing Board Member Charlie Nelson, President of KLN Family Brands.
“AgriGrowth is proud to welcome its newest board member, Josie Hendrickx. Our board represents organizations and individuals from across the agri-food industry, and KLN Family Brands brings an important perspective as both a manufacturer of pet food and confections,” said Tamara Nelsen, Executive Director of AgriGrowth. “Our board members include major employers, farmers, nonprofits, associations and educators from across agri-food, and we all come together to problem-solve, share best practices, and advocate for policies that help advance our industry.”
“Thank you to AgriGrowth for welcoming me as its newest board member. I look forward to working on issues important to KLN Family Brands, as well as the agri-food industry as a whole including supporting a thriving, rural workforce and building a strong, resilient economy. I am proud to collaborate with AgriGrowth and agri-food leaders from across our industry because I know how important our work is - impacting people in every corner of our state and helping to feed the world,” said Josie Hendrickx, Director of Sourcing for KLN Family Brands.
