January 22, 2024

Saint Paul, MINN.--The Minnesota Agri-Growth Council (AgriGrowth), a nonprofit, nonpartisan member organization representing the agriculture and food industry, welcomed five new board members in January 2024. They represent a wide array of businesses across the agri-food industry.

The five new board members joining AgriGrowth are:

  • Chuck Tryon, President at Bushel Boy Farms
  • Geraint Powell, Division General Counsel at Rosen’s Diversified
  • Jaime Goehner, General Manager at ADM
  • Jim Roberge, Chief Diversified Markets Officer at Compeer Financial
  • Tom Rabaey, Senior Manager at General Mills

“It is an honor to welcome these new leaders to the AgriGrowth Board of Directors. They bring a wealth of knowledge, experience, and diversity needed to move the agri-food economy forward in Minnesota,” said Sheryl Meshke, Board Chair of AgriGrowth.

“AgriGrowth is able to be a champion for the agriculture and food industry because of the strength of our leadership and members. It takes a team of different talents and perspectives coming together to advocate for our industry and ensure we are able to provide the food, fuel and fiber our world needs,” said Tamara Nelsen, Executive Director of AgriGrowth. “We are excited to welcome our five new board members, and know that their aptitude, knowledge and leadership skills will contribute to the continued success of our organization and industry.”

AgriGrowth board members ending their terms in 2023 include two long-time board members - Tom Rosen, CEO at Rosen’s Diversified, and Steve Peterson, owner of Peterson Farms.
