DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD WINNERS

The Minnesota Agri-growth council annually selects a distinguished service award winner, recognizing individuals who significantly contribute to strengthening Minnesota's food and agriculture industry.

The Minnesota Model for Food Safety was named the 2011 Distinguished Service Award winner. This model is a partnership between the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, Minnesota Department of Health and the University of Minnesota - School of Public Health.

The 2010 Distinguished Service Award winner was awarded to Gene Hugoson, Minnesota Department of Agriculture.

The 2009 Distinguished Service Award winner was awarded to Don Helgeson, Gold'n Plump Poultry.

The 2008 Distinguished Service Award winner was awarded to Congressman Colin C. Peterson.

The 2007 Distinguished Service Award winner was awarded to Bob Christensen of Christensen Farms.
