AgriGrowth to host four regional workforce sessions
Saint Paul — Beginning in June, the Minnesota AgriGrowth Council will be hosting four Regional Workforce Sessions across the state, to educate employers in the agriculture and manufacturing sectors on strategies and labor tools for attracting, recruiting and retaining talent. The free, half-day, sessions will feature workshops on relevant topics and networking opportunities.
“Recruiting and retaining quality employees is something that many employers in the agriculture and agribusiness sectors struggle with,” said Perry Aasness, Executive Director of AgriGrowth. “This is why AgriGrowth is convening these sessions – to help employers learn about best practices for attracting talent and to connect job seekers with employers across the state.”
Business leaders, hiring managers, HR professionals, operations managers, career services and faculty are encouraged to attend. There is no cost to attend the sessions, but RSVPs are requested.
